When a simple princess bun makes you happy. Can we all be like this?
Are you questioning yourself about making a change? Don’t be . Change is good for all of us. Just ask this beautiful lady. For months we have been working together on growing out her bangs. For years she held on to them.
Adding some angles for some beautiful framing enhances her her look.
Color- my favorite color line . RUSK. Simple , pure deposit, and lasting on the hair shaft. Vals formula is golden highlights with a mix of bright highlights. Lowlights of a beautiful brown. All placed in foils.

It’s always that time of the year to help out our food pantries. We need all of them, and the volunteers work so hard keeping families fed. Monrovia Salon has been involved with the Urbana Food Pantry for many years. A collection of different proceeds are given throughout the year. Help us keep the food pantry filled.

When your career has turned into friendships. Two people that have been following me for a long long , time. Not only is Mr Bill a veteran with the military. His work as a police officer was appreciated.
My goal is to continue grabbing pictures of all of you. We need to continue to see something positive .

Let’s kick off the Holiday season. While doing so, let’s do it the safest way possible. As the holiday appointments begin, please be mindful of our policies at hand.
We are still at a minimum capacity in the salon. Stylist are being challenged with filling appointments with last minute cancellations. Please give us plenty of time to fill your appointment.

It’s a walk that she will remember for the rest of her life. Today is Wedding Day for Amanda Hughes. Bridal hair and all the festivities will begin at 9am.
The laughter and stories of how she met Steve will fill the room today while getting ready.
I am so happy and honored to take part in everything. From bridal hair, attending as a guest, and helping with photos. What a beautiful day ahead.

As difficult as it is, we must enforce the mask rule. If you are in the salon during our salon hours, you will be required to wear your mask.
Please remember this ensures safety for so many of our compromised clients, you and the staff. This is a State Board Rule And we have to enforce it.
If you are getting chemicals - I encourage you to wear a disposable mask.
Thank you for understanding. Please note that we are still not operating on a full staff throughout the day. Appointments are a must. Being mindful of the next appointment waiting appreciated.

1 year ago I cut about 2 inches off, and long hair was fitting for Margie. Today, a shorter , new trendy look was on the schedule.
October is a very important month for women. Self care is number one. Loving my special time with these two ladies.
